The Adoption Process
Once the malamute has joined C.A.M.E.O., we will temporarily place the dog in one of our foster homes. There it will receive nurturing and guidance, while also undergoing a careful evaluation to determine the dog's temperament and social habits. It is this process that helps us to closely match the owner and dog for the perfect fit.
Finally, when the dog has been evaluated and a suitable new owner has passed the adoption application, we place the dog in its new home. Our number one goal is to find the right and lasting homes for the dogs. They have already been through so much that we want this to be the perfect fit and final homes for the rest of their lives.
There is an adoption fee of $200. This covers the costs of vaccinations, spaying or neutering. and the care the dog has received while being fostered.
